MIAMI, FL | April 14, 2021. Pan American Art Projects is pleased to announce Contemporary Art Auction, a charity sale to support Fountainhead Arts with a donation of 25% of sales proceeds. Works will be made available for bidding on Invaluable.com on May 3rd, and will culminate in a Live Online Auction on Sunday, May 15th. Bids can be entered at any time (together with secret maximum bids) from May 3rd but will not become final until the Live Auction.

The gallery’s auction catalog includes important American and Latin American names, such as Edouard Duval Carrié, Roberto Fabelo, Leon Ferrari, Joe Goode, Roberto Matta, Liliana Porter, Carolina Sardi, and Tracey Snelling, among others. The gallery will also present young and talented artists such as Serlian Barreto, Ivan Perera, Mabel Poblet, Lisandra Ramírez, Jorge Ríos, and Rachel Valdés, among others. We will set up an online Viewing Room where a curated selection of pieces from the sale will be available for sale only the evening of the VIP Reception at the gallery on May 3rd.

“Fountainhead is thrilled to benefit from a longstanding relationship with Pan American Projects and its outstanding roster of artists,” says Fountainhead co-founder and executive director Kathryn Mikesell. “As an organization focused on uplifting artists throughout their careers, we’re honored to be a part of an auction spanning generations of both renowned and emerging artists.”

- Kathryn Mikesell. President of Fountainhead Arts.

“It is both a pleasure and an honor for us at Pan American Art, who have been devoted to present parallels in the art from the Americas, to organize our next charity auction for the benefit of Kathryn Mikesell's Fountainhead Arts. They have done much to promote the visual arts, and have made Miami a destination for a great many talented young artists seeking to advance their education and careers. In this world of art which we have both chosen, I cannot think of a more worth-while activity than Kathryn's.”

- Robert Borlenghi. President of Pan American Art Projects.

The gallery team will be available to help if bidders require assistance. All works related to the auction can be seen at the gallery. For more information about placing bids and the auction platform, please watch this video.

ABOUT THE GALLERY

Pan American Art Projects was established in 2001 with the mission to exhibit and promote established and emerging artists from North, Central and South America, providing a context for dialogue between the various regions. We represent a strong roster of contemporary artists of the Americas and hold a collection of important works from Cuba, Argentina, the U.S. and the Caribbean. Our programming reflects these complementary arenas providing a comprehensive historical context for contemporary tendencies in the visual arts from these regions. We opened our gallery in Dallas in 2001, expanding to Miami in 2006 with the opening of our pioneering space in the Wynwood Arts District. In 2016 we moved our collection and gallery exhibition spaces to the Little River/Little Haiti arts district, where we produce exhibitions of our represented artists as well as historically framed collective exhibits mostly from our held collection.
