This set of 26 original prints, which are meant to be representative of contemporary Cuban printmaking, accompanies an exhibition in three parts, respectively devoted to the "founders" of a certain tradition in the 1960s, tridimensional and installation works, and images with a conceptual content. Elegio surveys the history of the discipline as practiced in Cuba since the 1970s, and elaborates on the decline of religious themes and the works of young artists. Biogaphical notes. Lists of exhibited works. Text in Spanish.
