MIAMI, FL | September 2, 2022. Pan American Art Projects is pleased to announce Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art, a charity sale to support the Coral Gables Museum with the donation of 25% of the sales proceeds. The sale will start running online on Invaluable.com on September 28th culminating in the Online Live Auction on Sunday, October 9th. Bids can be entered at any time (together with secret maximum bids) from September 28th but will not become final until the Live Auction.

Our auction catalog includes important Latin American art masters, such as Víctor Manuel, Carlos Enríquez, Fidelio Ponce de León, Mariano Rodríguez, René Portocarrero, as well as contemporary established artists like Jose Bedia, J. Roberto Diago, Jose M. Fors, A. Sosabravo, and José A. Toirac, among several others.

Elvis Fuentes, Director of the Coral Gables Museum, said: “We at the Coral Gables Museum are very touched by the generous support of Pan American Art Projects. Robert Borlenghi is a friend, and has contributed to a solo show of new works by Edouard Duval-Carrie, which will open at the museum in October. Now this benefit goes even further. It is very exciting when we consider the great quality of the artworks included. There is an abundance of masterpieces on this auction, and collectors will have a rare opportunity to acquire pieces from a major collection. The funds will help us propel the Coral Gables Museum into a new chapter of excellence from which our constituents and stakeholders will benefit the most.”

Robert Borlenghi, President of Pan American Art Projects, said: “This collaboration with the Coral Gables Museum is as much a sign of our appreciation for the important work of this institution, as it is a recognition of the relevance of art in the City of Coral Gables. Furthermore, it is a tribute to the appointment of long-time friend Elvis Fuentes as director of the museum.”

The gallery team will be available to help if bidders require assistance. All works in the online auction can be seen at the gallery. For more information about placing bids and the auction platform, please watch this video.
